Health Department Offers Tips for Allergies and Asthma Attacks

GREAT FALLS - While the summer months are coming to a close, health officials say allergy season is year-round.
Officials say the changing of the seasons can often cause allergy symptoms to become worse along with a higher possibility for asthma flare-ups.
Asthma attacks occur when the lungs are agitated, which could happen from a number of factors that include cigarette smoke, smog and air pollution, along with mold and dust mites.
Officials say it is important for those with asthma to know the signs of an asthma attack, along with taking all medications recommended by a health official.....

Dick Pound mocks use of powerful medication for asthma as the doping chief raised worries about its use a DECADE ago

DOPING chief Dick Pound raised concerns about the misuse of powerful medication for asthma  by sports stars a DECADE ago.
And he has long called for the names of athletes who have requests for  therapeutic use exemptions (TUEs) rejected to be  published.
