Asthma Due To Work/Occupation

Asthma due to Work/Occupation is asthma caused or exacerbated the situation in the workplace such as irritation, chemical fumes, gases or dust. Like other types of asthma, the work can cause asthma symptoms, such as breathing difficulty, wheezing and shortness of breath.

If diagnosed and treated as early as possible, Asthma result of the work can be cured. But if not treated promptly, the long term effects could be worse. It is not clear cause some people have asthma caused by work. This probably has something to do with the heritage nature (genetics) or because of certain substances in a work environment that accumulates from time to time.

Symptom
Asthma symptoms started when the lungs become inflamed. Inflammation causes a reaction that clog the airways and make breathing difficult. When confronted with something that triggers an asthma attack, the airways become narrow:
* The muscle around the airways tighten.
* Air Line itself becomes swollen.
* It produces too much mucus.

Employment asthma symptoms similar to those caused by other types of asthma. Signs and symptoms include:
* Wheezing
* Cough
* Shortness of breath
* Chest congested
Other symptoms that may accompany such as:
* Colds
* Nose
* Irritation of eyes

Treatment
If someone has asthma due to work, your doctor will probably recommend avoiding contact with irritants that trigger symptoms. Patients also need medications to help relieve asthma symptoms. Avoiding workplace irritants, it is important to successfully treat asthma.

Prevention
The only way that would eliminate symptoms and prevent damage to the lungs due to asthma is to avoid working anything that triggers asthma.
