Can interactive avatars help manage a child̢۪s medical issues? Mequon, Wisconsin-based Geppetto Avatars Inc. thinks the answer is yes.
Now the company, headed by former Metavante Technologies executive Norrie Daroga, must convince investors. The startup debuted an early version of its asthma monitoring app Friday at South by Southwest, the art, technology and music extravaganza in Austin, Texas.
