Research published in the British Journal of General Practice suggests that children are regularly being misdiagnosed with asthma.
The condition affects over a million children in Britain, but the new research suggests that this figure could be inaccurate; if so, thousands of children could be needlessly taking medication with adverse side effects, which can include throat infections, nausea and muscle cramps.....

Coolio suffers asthma attack on stage, gets inhaler from fan

Coolio, the unforgettable rapper behind the 1995 hit "Gangsta's Paradise," had a severe asthma attack on stage on Feb. 24 and had to borrow an inhaler from a fan.
The rapper has suffered from asthma most of his life.

Two Worcester, Massachusetts, men who pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the 2013 death of a teen who suffered a severe asthma attack after a fight are headed to prison.
Telegram & Gazette reports 21-year-old Michael Ventura and 20-year-old Collage Nunez were each sentenced to 7 to 10 years in state prison on Wednesday. The two men pleaded guilty to manslaughter and additional charges.....
