Poor indoor air quality may mean 80% more asthma sufferers by 2050
The number of asthma sufferers in the UK could rise by 80 per cent unless indoor air quality (IAQ) legislation is tightened, a new report has found.
The study, by The Future of Indoor Air Quality in UK Homes and its Impact on Health, revealed that building regulations are not robust enough to combat the effect of indoor air pollution on the health of building occupants.
