Teen in stolen car claims asthma attack caused him to crash, killing Boca Raton mom
WEST PALM BEACH (CBS12) — A 15-year old, behind the wheel of a stolen car, now says an asthma attack caused him to pass out and lose control, hitting and killing a Boca Raton mother of two children.
The revelation came Tuesday, as Wesley Brown, now 16, finds himself on trial in adult court, charged with vehicular homicide.
Boca Raton Police say Brown drove so fast and recklessly in November 2015, he caused the death of Wendy Harris-Aceves.
Friends remember Harris-Aceves as a beloved wife and mother, active in her kids' school lives, church and Girl Scouts.....
