Asthma sufferer from Newhall says new scheme in South Derbyshire will save lives
An asthma sufferer whose condition means she struggles to climb the stairs, unload the washing machine and clean the house has praised a new scheme in South Derbyshire which could save hundreds of lives.
Lynn Farmer, 46, of Newhall, was diagnosed with asthma at 21 years old, but her health got progressively worse and in 2009 she had to quit her job as an estate agent due to her asthma.
Having experienced hundreds of asthma attacks and several stays in hospital as a result of her condition, Miss Farmer believes the new Improving Asthma Care Together scheme (ImpACT) launched in South Derbyshire by Derby Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will have a huge impact on asthma sufferers.....
