Most Canadians with asthma do not understand proper asthma control: survey
The Canadian Lung Association says there's a need to improve understanding of proper asthma control.
A new survey suggests nine in 10 Canadians who have asthma do not have it under control, even though most perceive their asthma to be well-controlled.
Respirologist Dr. Paul O'Byrne, who's also dean and VP of McMaster Health Sciences, says healthcare professionals need to work more closely with patients to clearly communicate what asthma control is.....
