Yoga may improve quality of life and symptoms in asthma patients

A Cochrane Systematic Review found that yoga may improve an asthma patient’s quality of life and symptoms.
Asthma patients who practised yoga regularly had an improved quality of life score (0.57 units on a 7-point scale; 95 percent confidence interval [CI], 0.37-0.77; five studies; 375 participants). Improved asthma symptoms were also seen in these patients (standardized mean deviation [SMD], 0.37, 95 percent CI, 0.09-0.65; three studies; 243 studies).
