(CNN) - Asthma affects more than 22 million Americans of all ages. It can be challenging - even dangerous - for asthmatics who don't take proper care of themselves.
And wintertime poses its own set of triggers.

First of all, you need a knowledgeable doc, unfortunately many docs aren't so well versed in asthma treatment, some even still prescribe the obsolete theophyllin tablets which are weak and have lots of toxic side-effects so the last decades I've never prescribed them anymore.....
