Yourwellness Magazine Gets Behind Asthma Sufferer’s Charity Climb
On the 15th of September, a lifelong asthma sufferer will climb Mount Snowdon to raise money for an international aid charity. Gary Evans (35) hopes to raise at least £500 for CARE International. Father-of-three Evans told the Spalding Guardian, “I was anxious about the climb because as an asthma sufferer, I find breathing difficult even at the best of times. But the doctors advised me that as long as I’m aware of my condition and have the right people there, I can do it at my own risk.”.....

Asthma rates continue to rise
New Zealand's rates of asthma are continuing to rise, with sufferers getting worse at managing the illness.
Around 10 per cent of adults and 20 per cent of children suffer from asthma, with 8,000 people admitted to hospital for the condition in 2011.....
