Lisa Dennis is looking at photos of her daughter Olivia - a blonde girl with a radiant smile.
These are special moments, frozen in time. Olivia died four years ago, aged 10, after having an asthma attack.
Her parents did not even know their gymnastics-loving daughter had the condition.
But Olivia is not the only child to lose their life to asthma.
According to the latest data for England and Wales, 37 children and teenagers died from the disease in 2014.
The figure has risen over the past five years. But many of these deaths are thought to be preventable.....

Camp offers kids suffering from asthma, diabetes a summer of fun
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Some area kids are having fun this summer, despite suffering from asthma or diabetes.
Camp Air Waves and Seven Seas, hosted by Grand Strand Health, gives kids with these medical ailments a chance to learn about their conditions in the morning and spend the rest of their day playing.
On Thursday, the children went to Shipwreck Island Adventure Golf and the campers say they love hanging out with others just like them.
“Nobody's really going to judge you. You have the same problems. Some are more serious than the others,” said camper Willow Chapman.....

Protective Association Identified for Asthma Against Sepsis
THURSDAY, June 22, 2017 (HealthDay News) — For patients with infections, those with asthma have reduced risk of sepsis, according to a letter to the editor published online May 22 in the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine.
Joe G. Zein, M.D., from the Cleveland Clinic, and colleagues examined the incidence of sepsis and/or sepsis-related mortality in individuals with asthma, characterized by activation of pro-inflammatory pathways, using data from five datasets for patients hospitalized with pneumonia, urinary tract infection, or skin and soft tissue infection. Data were included from the 2012 Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project-National Inpatient Sample (NIS), the 2007, 2008, and 2011 NIS, and Cleveland Clinic Health System admissions between 2010 and 2014.....
