Do kids grow out of childhood asthma?

Girl dies at doctor's surgery after asthma attack

An 11-year-old schoolgirl died after suffering a severe asthma attack at her GP’s surgery, an inquest heard.
Sydney Neil collapsed in the medical centre after being taken there by her mother after falling ill at school.
However, the schoolgirl, from Claverley Road, Kings Heath, later died in hospital from complications.....

Birmingham mum honoured by House of Lords for asthma fight

Birmingham mum Kim Douglas has been awarded a British Citizen Award for her work with the George Coller Memorial Fund.
A mum who launched an asthma awareness campaign following the death of her three-year-old son from the condition has been honoured in the House of Lords.
Kim Douglas, from Birmingham, has been awarded a British Citizen Award for her work with the George Coller Memorial Fund, a charity she launched 16 years ago following the tragedy.....
