This summer, Bryan Parks and Recreation has implemented a new water safety campaign to better promote safety at city facilities. Drowning is the number one cause of death for children younger than the age of 4 and is the third leading cause of death among children younger than 14. It occurs quickly and silently. Eighty-eight percent of drowning victims were under some sort of supervision at the time of the incident, and 75 percent of victims were missing for fewer than five minutes.....
