Etiene Medeiros Pulls Out of Mare Nostrum Tour Due to Asthma

Brazil’s Etiene Medeiros will not compete in any of her remaining events on the Mare Nostrum tour this week due to her asthma, according to a tweet today by Brazilian reporter Alex Pussieldi. Medeiros had yet to race an event on the tour, too.
Medeiros was entered in the 50 free, 100 free, 50 back, 100 back, and 100 fly at the Canet stop of the tour, but didn’t swim any of those yesterday or today. She was seeded as highly as 2nd in the 50 free, 50 back and 100 back.....
