Thomas-Michael Martin, known as Tom, was on his way to hospital with mum Dawn Gerrard and a friend when he went into cardiac arrest as a result of the asthma attack.....

Asthma inhalers get 50 per cent price cut

Eleven medicines, including Ventolin inhalers used by asthma sufferers, have gone down in price recently, Consumer Affairs Minister Helena Dalli said today.
Price reductions varied between 8 per cent and 67 per cent. Ventolin inhalers have had their price slashed in half, from €6.34 to €3.15.  Dermovate, a skincare ointment, has gone down in price from €6.19 to €2.05.....
