Lake County residents experience asthma symptoms 2 months after Valley Fire

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. (KTVU) - Residents in Lake County said they are experiencing asthma-related symptoms and other issues two months after the Valley Fire swept through the area.

High levels of physical activity may worsen asthma control in young females

Among 526 adolescents and young adults who were asked about their exercise habits, those with asthma tended to report more physical activity than those without asthma. Compared with moderate physical activity, high physical activity levels were linked with poorer asthma control in females, but not in males.....

FDA approved mepolizumab (Nucala) as an add-on maintenance therapy for the treatment of patients with severe asthma who are 12 years and older and with an eosinophilic phenotype.
