Governor visits Camp Spinnaker for children with asthma

DOVER — Gov. Maggie Hassan visited Camp Spinnaker held in Tuftonboro Wednesday, Aug. 19, to tour the camp and meet campers, ages 8-12, who all have asthma.
Camp Spinnaker, is one of the many programs for children with chronic health conditions, provided by Zebra Crossings of Dover. This is the third year of camp and with 31 campers this year, it continues to grow and reach more children. The program is hosted by the American Youth Foundation’s Camp Merrowvista in Center Tuftonboro. The beautiful facility provides wonderful experiences and learning opportunities for the campers, according to a press release from Zebra Crossings.....

Study Shows Tralokinumab Does Not Significantly Reduce Asthma Exacerbations in Patients With Severe Uncontrolled Asthma

Results from a recent study published in The Lancet Respiratory Medicine showed that Tralokinumab did not significantly reduce the rates of asthma exacerbation in patients with severe uncontrolled asthma. However, the results revealed that tralokinumab given every 2 weeks was able to improve patients’ forced expiratory volume in 1 second.....
