Asthma sufferers should be given prescriptions for exercise, say experts

EXERCISE is so effective for asthma it should be prescribed as treatment, an expert say.
Britain's five million asthmatics often avoid physical activity for fear of triggering symptoms.
But a study shows it can improve wellbeing and reduce the severity of attacks.
Researchers found those who do aerobic exercise like running are twice as less likely to develop asthma symptoms than those who did just yoga.....

7-year-old Euclid girl dies after suffering asthma attack

EUCLID-A family is mourning the loss of their precious 7-year-old daughter, after she suffered an asthma attack Sunday.
Melody’s mom woke up and found her daughter unresponsive in the bathroom Sunday night. Her mom
performed CPR, was able to revive her and got her to the hospital right away.....

Asthma 'exacerbated' by house

A Whangarei woman with chronic asthma was admitted to intensive care at least four times while living in a mouldy, damp Housing New Zealand property.
Suzanne Nadin, 59, finally moved from the Tikipunga property in February at the recommendation of her doctor.
The house was damp, mouldy, poorly insulated and had no curtains, Ms Nadin said.....
