Patients May Avoid Topic of Work-Related Asthma for Fear of Losing Jobs
Nearly half of employed asthmatic adults work in environments that can contribute to their asthma, and very few of them will discuss this issue with their doctor, according to a new study.

Patients Mum on Work-Related Asthma
Those with trouble breathing may also have trouble speaking up.
While 46% of employed adults had asthma that was possibly work-related, only 15% of those patients discussed the relation between the workplace and their symptoms with their physician, according to a study published in the February issue of Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.....
