Chest specialists have observed that Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is caused by smoking and environmental pollution, which is increasing in Pakistan against the declining trend in the world.

Health alert issued for blowing dust
People with respiratory issues should limit outdoor activity


ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —A health alert was issued for blowing dust until 6 p.m. Sunday.
Authorities with the Environmental Health Department said the alert was issued for people with respiratory conditions.
Officials said high winds could cause higher levels of particulate matter.
Those who are sensitive to blowing dust, including those with asthma, chronic bronchitis or other respiratory and heart diseases, should limit outdoor activity.....
