Be more vocal about asthma

The voice box is located in the center of the neck. Two structures making up this box are the vocal chords, which are two folds of tissue that protrude from the sides of the box to form a narrow slit which allows air to pass through. When air passes between the vocal chords they vibrate, producing speech, song and all other vocal noises. Alterations in the vocal cords themselves or in their nerve supply due to disease interferes with the sound.....

The Link Between Asthma and This Chemical

Now, a new study published in JAMA Pediatrics finds that prenatal exposure to BPA is also linked to lower lung capacity in some young children. Every 10-fold increase in the BPA concentration of maternal urine—meaning every time that number went up 10 times—was linked to about a 55% increase in the odds of wheezing.....
