Women are More Suseptible to Allergies, Asthma, Autoimmune Disease than Men
Women are more susceptible to allergies, asthma and autoimmune diseases than men are due to genetic differences between the sexes, a new study found.
However, young boys suffer from rhinitis, asthma and food allergies more than girl do.
"More prepubescent males have rhinitis, asthma and food allergy than females," said Allergy specialist Dr Renata Engler, according to the Telegraph.....

Jameson adds asthma service line
Jameson Hospital in New Castle has opened an asthma treatment center, a new service line dedicated to the diagnosis, education and management of the lung disease.
Debbie Thompson, a registered nurse and director of surgical services and ambulatory care at Jameson Health System, oversees the Jameson Lung Center, which now includes the new asthma clinic. An open house will be held Nov. 12 at the hospital’s north campus, located in New Castle.....
