Smoking can be a cause of asthma

A study from Finland suggests that people who smoke are more vulnerable to developing asthma.
It’s well known that cigarette smoke is a trigger for asthma attacks in those who already have the condition. But, no-one has said that smoking could actually cause asthma. In a study, researchers at the Finnish Institute for Occupational Health, reveal that smoking may well be a contributing factor in new cases of asthma.
