There is no difference in asthma exacerbation among people who have influenza vaccination and those who do not, according to a study.
Influenza can be a serious problem for people with asthma, so vaccination seems like a sensible thing to do. But there have been concerns that the flu jab can make people’s asthma worse. Infection link with asthma
Lingering pneumonia infection may be a factor in asthma, according to new experiments.
Most people recover completely from pneumonia, but sometimes the bacterium responsible Mycoplasma pneumoniae hangs around in the body for a long time afterwards. It’s been suspected that these long-lasting infections may trigger asthma. The bacterium has been detected among some people having severe asthma attacks, for instance.....

Low vitamin C link to asthma
People with severe asthma have been found to have low intakes and blood levels of vitamin C.
