Asthmapolis Receives FDA Clearance for Asthma Inhaler Sensor System

Asthmapolis has received FDA clearance for its asthma sensor system and associated software for web and mobile phones. The main component of the system is a small and lightweight sensor that attaches to the top of existing asthma inhalers and that determines the time and location when the inhaler was used. The sensor uses GPS for localization and communicates through Bluetooth to mobile phones which may then further upload the data to Asthmapolis’ servers...
